Sean Payton Speaks

A message from Sean Payton:
Who dat nation come out, show out, and make noise. Monday September 22nd as you know the Saints are taking on the Seattle Seahawks in our first home game of the season.  We are going to set a new indoor stadium record for the Guinness World Records.
Be sure to bring everyone you know, don’t speak to anyone all day long and save your voice for that night. We are going to show the 12th man what it really means to be loud.
Show your pride. This is not a game for the Saints; this is a challenge to the league. The NFL will hear our roar and will feel it. We will make a record breaking night, come out and show support. Who dat goin’ bring the noise.
Thanks for your support and pride,
Sean Payton

Marcus Smart Leads the Cowboys to a Thanksgiving Victory

Thanksgiving morning, the first cold day in central Florida all year and I have get out of my cozy bed. A brisk 49 degrees tip toeing, around the house not to wake up the Josh (my dog, Josh Rondo Durant). We take the journey to ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex to watch the 2013 Old Spice Classic; the first game is Purdue vs. #5Oklahoma St.
Now I haven't really been following college basketball but I do like a good game. Marcus Smart is the rising star of the team cutting the D into shreds like Logan in his WWII days along side Captain America played by Markel Brown. Brown was the fire starter for the Cowboys getting the first couple of points with a lay up and free throws. Smart had 24 of his 30 points in th  #5Oklamhoma St. leads 52-29.
e first half. Purdue got into some early foul trouble sending Smart to the line 6 times in the first half alone.

The second half started off bumpy for Oklahoma St. they were unable to get the lid off the basket what seemed like forever which actually were no more than 2 minuets. After getting into some late foul trouble he had to sit back and watch as Purdue made a slight come back getting the fans stomping their feet. Purdue is within 8 after a big 3-point shot and a little under 6 minutes left in the half Oklahoma St. takes a time out. Ronnie Johnson of Purdue and Markel Brown are then hit with a technical foul. It took a while but the Captain had returned to get the Cowboys back in the game starting off with a couple free throws made and awesome block on the defensive end. Then it was all up hill for the Cowboys as they win the game 97-87 a combined 55 points from Markel Brown and Marcus Smart.
